SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service point produced for intervention encounters a high influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to here attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to permit the servicing of all buyers and raise entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
